The Campbell's Tournament is a Houseleague Select softball tournament for boys and girls from Mites through Midgets.

It is limited to eight teams per division and is open to Scarborough Softball Association affiliated and, space permitting,

outside teams as well.  Each division is played on a two game elimination basis (guaranteed two games) over a single weekend.

The commitment dates for entrance in the Campbell's Tournament is as follows:

   Midget Divisions:  June 27, 2008 for SSA teams

   Mites through Bantam Divisions:  August 1, 2008 for SSA teams and August 15, 2008 for non-SSA teams and late SSA registrants.

The fee to enter a team shall be $175 for SSA teams that register by their deadline and $200 for non-SSA teams and late registering

SSA teams.

The tournament for Mites through Bantam (boys and girls) will be held on the weekend of September 5, 2008.  The Midget

portion (boys and girls) will be held on the weekend of August 8, 9 and 10, 2008.  Midget Boys will play on Friday and Sunday

and Midget Girls on Saturday and Sunday.

Depending upon interest and participation, the tournament will be open to teams outside of the SSA.  SSA teams will be

guaranteed spots as long as commitments are received by the deadline dates after which, non-SSA teams may register.  The

deadline date for SSA team commitments for the Midget Boys and Girls divisions is June 27, 2008.  The deadline date for Mite

through Bantam divisions is August 1, 2008.  SSA teams may register after the deadline dates (registrations received before the

dealine dates will be held pending those dates) but acceptance thereafter shall be subject to space availability and on a first

come - first served basis.
