SCARBOROUGH GIRLS REP IS GROWING: For the 2008 season we will host 4 girls rep teams. These |
|
teams are registered with the PWSA which is the Provincial Women's Softball Association. |
|
|
|
SQUIRT 2 (born in 1996/1997): This is a NEW TEAM. We are looking for 3 or 4 more players to |
|
complete the team. Please contact Marion Oda for further info. |
|
|
|
BANTAM 1 (born 1992/93): This is a NEW TEAM coached by Bob Acton. This team will play in the |
|
premier division. This team is full. |
|
|
|
BANTAM 2 (born in 1992/1993): This is a NEW TEAM coached by Ed Lopes. This team will play in the |
|
NYWSL division. This team is looking for 1 or 2 more players. |
|
|
|
MIDGET (born in 1989-1991): This is the third year for this team coached by Ken Oda. Last year this |
|
team placed third in the Ontario Provincial Championships and then went onto to receive the bronze |
|
medal at the Eastern Canadian Championships in Quebec. This team is currently looking for 1 more |
|
player. |

|
|
Home games for these teams are L'Aamoreaux park or Adams Park. These teams also participate in |
|
weekend tournaments in and around the GTA. The Bantam 1 and Midget team will also participate in |
|
USA Tournaments. |

!!! SQUIRT ALERT !!! Looking for players for the SQUIRT REP TEAM. If you are a female |
|
player with softball experience born in 1996 or 1997, please consider the rep program. You will |
|
meet lots of people, wear a cool uniform, learn many new skills and do a little bit of traveling. There |
|
is 1 Winter and 1 summer practice per week mandatory for this team. Season starts in May and |
|
runs until the first week of August. Cost is $350 for the season which includes practice facilities, |
|
uniforms, all required field equipment and all tournament entry fees. |
