Closing Day FAQ

Q: Do all players need to attend Closing Day?

Players in U8, U12 and U17 whose teams are in the Championship Games are expected to attend.  U8 & U12 Players not in the Championship Games are encouraged to come to the park for the Skills Competition as well as to attend the luncheon and receive their trophy of participation.  U17 players not in the Championship Game are also encouraged to spend the day at the park as volunteers and also to collect their year-end trophy.

Q: Do T-Ballers attend? 

The T-Ball program has its own Closing Day, generally the weekend before this event.  T-Ballers are welcome to attend to cheer on older siblings, but they will not be included in the awards.

Q: How does food and drink work on Closing Day?

Each registered U8, U12 & U17 player is entitled to one food and drink voucher.  Parents, friends, siblings and others are welcome to purchase a food & drink voucher for a donation to the Scarborough Softball Association.
